Wilkins is one of the most underrated players in NBA history. He was a scoring machine, a dunking legend, and a superstar in his own right. But he never won the MVP award, despite having a strong case in 1986. He also never had a chance to compete for a championship, as he was stuck in a weak Hawks team that couldn’t get past the Celtics or the Pistons. In this video, we will explore Wilkins’ career and why he deserves more recognition and respect than he gets. We will also look at some of his amazing highlights and achievements that made him the Human Highlight Film.

Dominique is my second favorite player ever, watched his entire career as TBS was one of the only channels that we actually had growing up. He was amazing to watch and very underappreciated as an overall player. Glad he’s getting respect as time goes on. Ps. Best dunker ever too, it’s not close.

Thank you for this video. Nique is my favorite player of all time. Watched every one of his games on TBS because that was a free channel back in the day lol. He was THE SHOW wherever he went or played and brought the energy on and off the court!

Underrated??? EXTREMELY UNDERRATED! He is The Human Highlight Film... Kenny is right and one of the best scoring machines. I'd check the newspaper in Houston every day back then. Just to see what he scored and Jordan scored. Besides his aggressive dunks and his sky-ing over everyone followups, he had a shot too. Driving machine! One of my favorite players of all time and should be in my opinion top 5 players ever...

He was buried under because of the bird magic era

I agree. He was a victim of circumstance.

He deserves respect, but I wouldn’t go as to say more than the other three superstars mentioned in the caption.

I needed those clicks, hope you understand. But I agree with you. He's still criminally underrated

Stupid title. All these guys brought massive attention, style, grace, skill, integrity, leadership of the highest caliber to the game and fans without the help of the league, media hype and narratives. They are true greats.

Dominique never had a legit #2, Rivers and Willis never got on the same level as Pippen, Dumars, Stockton, McHale and Dominique only got an old Moses Malone who was already in the decline.

Moses was All-NBA the yr before he joined the Hawks. They also added Reggie Theus. From 86-88, Rivers and Willis were as good as Pippen and Grant were in 90 & 91. Nique just wasn't on Jordan, Magic, and Bird level.

Moses was super washed when he was on the Hawks. You obviously didn't watch the games during that time. And Reggie is only know on for dating Juanita Jordan and pissing off Jordan. Even Reggies best years on the Nets were mediocre at best. That's why he went back to Debarge after the NBA 😂

That's a tough one. I would argue maybe Bob Petit for # 2. # 3 on my list would be "Iso" Joe Johnson
